Nursing School Tutoring
Sometimes a new perspective makes all the difference, and this carries over in to the classroom. Whether working on your ADN or BSN or are in a class studying for a nursing credential, we can help. PRN RN TUTOR® instructors have not only walked in your shoes, but have years of experience teaching and precepting nursing students, of all levels, in both the classroom and professional environment. Let our nurse instructors help you be the best student and best nurse you can be.
Test Preparation
Even the most motivated student can only get so far with the latest test prep book and sometimes you just need instruction from a live person to take your studying that extra mile. Our PRN RN TUTOR® instructors received glowing results on the test(s) you are studying for. PRN RN TUTOR® instructors provide you with focused explanations of the specific test content you struggle with, so you can focus your efforts where it counts, on making the grade. We format the material you don’t understand and adapt our instruction to present the information so you can understand best. Let us make your study time, time well spent.
Nursing Skills Instruction
Are you about to begin your clinicals and don’t feel textbook instruction about new nursing skills is adequate preparation? You might be an experienced nurse building your repertoire of marketable nursing skills and need instruction about the new skills you are adding. Sometimes you are expected to do something you haven’t practiced since nursing school or received subpar training from your hospital’s training module. Our PRN RN TUTOR® instructors can teach you about the concepts, walk you step by step through hands on procedures and let you in on the “tribal knowledge” no official instruction would divulge. Use our experience to enhance yours so you can provide the best care for your patients.
RN Knowledge Review
Nothing lasts forever, including knowledge you haven’t used since scouring your nursing texts before your NCLEX. Is your hospital beginning a new program and your patient demographic is changing? Are you advancing in your role and challenging yourself with more complicated patient cases? Refresh or maybe even revive your knowledge with help from our PRN RN TUTOR® nurses. They are current with the latest best practices and are knowledge experts in general nursing and nursing in their chosen specialty.
Mock Nurse Interview
Talk to our PRN RN TUTOR® nurses who have not only been interviewees, but have conducted and participated in the interviews for nurses in their specialty. Our PRN RN TUTOR® nurses know what questions interviewers ask and the answers they are looking for. Let us help you polish your interview skills or if you’re new to nursing, learn how to interview successfully. See if you have what it takes by participating in a PRN RN TUTOR® mock interview, and receive constructive feedback from our experts so you can land the job you want.
RN Specialty Transition Coaching
Online research investigating changing a nursing specialty frequently leads to forums either extolling the virtues of a given specialty, or are an outlet for a disgruntled author’s disenchantments with their current position. You also might not be able to find suitable answers for the specific questions you have. Discussing your career interests with nurses in that role, offers a unique peek into the position. They can also reinforce and teach you the skills and concepts for your new specialty so you not only perform well on your interview, but fly through your preceptorship.
